Born October 9th, 1940, John Lennon would soon pursue a life-long career in music, being in his brainchild band to the Beatles known as the Quarry Men, meeting Paul McCartney and forming the now world-famous Beatles, becoming still influential despite being disbanded for about 40 years. John would soon go on to a successful solo career after The Beatles and being politically active before his tragic death in 1980 due to a crazed Beatles fan being jealous about John’s ongoing career. Despite it all, John is still as big as he was in his lifetime, or even bigger.

Essentially, John and his band and solo career influenced most music and modern music as we know it. They influenced countless bands, but to name a few, they influenced The Rolling Stones, Oasis, U2, Nirvana, and Foo Fighters, and for this, the music industry, to some extent, is a better place because of this.
